FARMERS FRIEND Introduction: Farmers in India have to bear harsh climatic conditions just to check their farms, switch on/off the pumps and other small agricultural practices. Though we have tractors, irrigation systems etc. we also require few other instruments or modern technology in the field of agriculture to help farmers grow food for us.Methods: 1. Farmers have to go to the field to check motors, switch on/off the water pumps, soil fertility, plants health, adding manures, fertilizers, even to remove weeds etc.2. They have to bear extreme climatic conditions and also face problems during heavy rainfalls 3. Their problems can be reduced by installing devices or sensors in the field to check temperature, humidity, soil fertility, growth of pests etc. 4. By checking the soil fertility these devices can also tell the farmers which manure or fertilizer to use and in how much quantity.5. This can be done by providing an interface using LLM Chatbots which can connect over 5G networks where IoT Fusion can benefit the farmers and reduce their efforts.6. Weather predictions can also be done by installing Numerical weather prediction models to provide accurate prediction on the weather.7. This information can be reported to the farmers using an application in their mobile phones in their regional language like Kannada. 8. Farmers therefore can give commands to these devices through the application by sitting in their home.How to build Chatbot?It should be in native language and able to understand what farmers are talking about.Role of Generative AI:We are using Generative AI for translation services and chatbot creation.We want to take this idea to the Government of Karnataka and MeITy Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. We want to raise funds and make this into a reality.Result:By using these applications, we can reduce the efforts of our farmers.These are the basic routines followed by the Indian farmers This application can be used to reduce the efforts of Indian farmers and help in the increase of production.
